Erin Darling is a fierce advocate and skilled trial lawyer with experience in state and federal court. Mr. Darling has successfully represented clients in a range of criminal cases, including drug distribution, drug conspiracy, bank robbery, felon in possession of a firearm, illegal re-entry, false statement, mail theft, DUI, and marijuana possession.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Darling was a Deputy Federal Public Defender in Los Angeles, representing indigent clients facing federal criminal prosecution. Mr. Darling has also helped win a number of civil rights victories while representing farm workers, students, and homeless individuals in three large class action lawsuits while working at Public Counsel. Mr. Darling began his legal career at the Eviction Defense Network, where he successfully represented hundreds of low-income tenants facing eviction.
Mr. Darling is the former Co-President of the National Lawyers Guild –Los Angeles chapter, and a winner of the California Attorney of the Year (CLAY) award in Public Interest law. Born and raised in Venice, California, Mr. Darling has served as a member of the Venice Neighborhood Council. In addition to having tried dozens of cases to verdict, Mr. Darling is also an avid surfer.
